Episode 34

34 | Pecos Jane Doe (Jolaine Hemmy)

It's MM's turn for a story this week and we're headed back to Texas for the mystery of Pecos Jane Doe. Salina, Kansas teenager Jolaine Hemmy went missing in 1966 with only some suspicious postcards sent to her family as a trace of her. Meanwhile, a Jane Doe drowns in a pool at the Ropers Motel in Pecos, TX. There's a lot of twists and turns in this one, plus the ever-present WHY ARE MEN?!

We set our crisis/secret codes for if we're ever sending "I'm okay BUT NOT REALLY" texts. Seattle is going through a heat wave and Katy is really dramatic about it. A Bad B club is established for all the awesome Bad Bs in this story. There is a "Jennifer Lopez is a queen who can do whatever she wants (even if that is Ben Affleck)" aside. None of this takes place in any panhandle. Katy brings up Bones a lot for someone who wasn't that into Bones. PA Oliver Queen has a lot of thoughts on this one.
