MM brings us the story of the Love Has Won cult and the rise and mysterious fall of its "Mother God," Amy Carlson. Love Has Won originated in 2006 and hold on to your butts, this is a RIDE.
We talk about our own levels of susceptibility for cults, our preferred excuses for if we find ourselves in the line for brands (GO BIG), the telltale signs of a destructive cult and what to watch out for. Be sure to show chicken parm some RESPECT. Don't be on the wrong side of the mountain, whatever that means. Also, yes, Katy once lived with members of a cult who did not try to recruit her. She's still bitter.
